IVN (Independent Voter Network) announced Tuesday that T.J. O’Hara has joined the IVN team of contributors as a Principal Political Analyst. As such, Mr. O’Hara will provide analyses of many of our nation’s most challenging political issues, as well as insight into possible solutions -- all from a nonpartisan perspective.

IVN is committed to raising the level of civil discourse. IVN encourages a broad diversity of opinions and offers a forum where participation is not conditioned on party affiliation. Correspondingly, T.J. O’Hara has a history of fostering substantive discussion of political topics through his extensive writings, speeches, and media commentaries.

Shawn Griffiths, managing editor of IVN, commented, “Mr. O’Hara brings a wealth of experience to IVN. He provides a fresh perspective and will challenge people to apply critical thinking to the conventional political wisdom.”

O’Hara is equally enthusiastic about his association with IVN.

“IVN is making a difference. It has created a meaningful national forum for election reformers and those who take their civic responsibilities seriously. In addition, it has established an outstanding reputation for addressing issues that are underreported by the media but critical to the advancement of our country,” said O’Hara.

Mr. O’Hara will begin commenting on issues at IVN.us through written contributions and video resources that will appear on IVN.us in August.

IVN: The purpose of IVN is to provide unfiltered political news and policy analysis across the political spectrum. Unlike traditional media outlets and elsewhere in the “blogosphere” where the diversity of viewpoints is often targeted to partisan circles, IVN actively encourages writers and readers of differing political viewpoints to engage in constructive dialogue. T.J O’Hara is an internationally recognized author, speaker and political commentator. In 2012, he emerged as the leading independent candidate for the Office of President of the United States. Along the way, he earned the first Presidential endorsement of the Whig Party since the 1850s, his website was archived by the Library of Congress for its historic significance, and he won the first online “virtual” Presidential election by a commanding 72.1% and 72.7% over Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, respectively.
