San Diego, Calif.- California based IVN.us and Washington DC based TheFulcrum.us are the nation’s leading nonpartisan news and information publications focused primarily on political reform and related public policy.

Now, IVN and The Fulcrum have teamed up to provide national content and logistical support for local community news organizations.

IVN San Diego, led by Executive Editor Hoa Quach Sanchez and Executive Producer JC Polk, will provide local organizations, community leaders, and anyone interested in elevating the public policy conversation an opportunity to publish unfiltered news, bound by a simple etiquette, not an ideology. In addition to original content, IVN San Diego co-publishes and co-promotes with other independent news and media partners to deliver readers content that helps us all navigate the more substantive discourse around public policy.

Over the last decade, IVN has earned a “least bias” rating from MediaBiasFactCheck.org and a “Center” rating from Allsides.com. We have accomplished this by seeking to prove that all people from all backgrounds are valuable, have substance to offer, and in the end have more in common with each other than they have differences.

At IVN we will try our best to provide a platform in which those with differences can find their common ground. We won’t be perfect, but we believe that this is the ground that provides the lifeblood of democracy. We will leave it to our audience of independent thinkers to find that commonality.
