Dr. Cynthia Burke - Mindfulness for the Year 2021

Dr. Cynthia Burke is a well-known and well-respected psychologist with great advice on why mindfulness is so important going into the New Year.

A native of Miami, she received her BA in Psychology from the American University, in Washington, D.C. and her Ph.D., also in Psychology, from UCSD.

She is a past President of the Western Society of Criminology, served as Chair of San Diego County’s Juvenile Justice Commission, and is an active member of the National Institute of Justice Community Corrections Research Network."
